Fostering Money

Money worried us sick when we received a sms from Edmund" Maybe I think too much But I think money is having some health problem.... She sneeezes a lot...cough and sometimes feels like wanna vomit. Do you think she might have some infection?"

With such descriptions, all of us got worried as Money was kept in a shelter for a few days and we understand that a shelter is not a very clean place. To add on to our worry Edmund bath her without knowing that she was just vaccinated 5days ago.

With that message, we quickly make some arrangement to send some medication for Money. Thanks to Alana who bought and brought the medication from Dr Goh for Money.

Additional nutrients was brought over the next evening.

OUR DAY!

MONEY
Is She?

Is She Not?

It does not matter.

Bibi or Ah Wong , we will still rescue her out from the PAWS shelter.

Linda stumbled upon a Lost dog, Ah Wong, posted in Petfinder.my. After comparing the photos we have of Bibi and Ah Wong we could not deny the similarities.

Ah Wong was sent to PAWS by 2 condo residents when they were given ultimatum to remove Ah Wong from the condo premises before the Management call the Council to catch her. We believed it must be fate that brought us together. All of us have not met Ah Wong except for April who had a brief encounter with Bibi at the vet. and yet we are not giving up on her when the condo resident changed her heart to give us Ah Wong.

Our path was not smooth sailing to claim her. Edward who spent the most time with Bibi, said it was not her when he went to identify. We at home and in the office were busy comparing photos of the 2 of them .Every nitty critty spot of her photos were scrutinized and compared.Even with the negative feedback from Edward , we decided to claim her too.It must be something more to that that makes us want to give her a better life.

The workers in PAWS did not make our life easy too when we rushed there early Friday morning beating the early morning traffic and rain hoping that we are able to take her out before the person who surrenders her put a stop to our adoption. Disappointed, we left the place after 2 hours waiting for the shelter to open and talking to the worker who refused to let us adopt Ah Wong as he claimed that the person who surrendered her will take her back on Saturday afternoon.

Ah Wong among the rest in the shelter.

Okay if that is what he wanted, we will follow to play a fair game. That is if the person who surrendered Ah Wong do not turn up on Saturday afternoon, we can adopt Ah Wong without any obstacle.

Saturday was our Day despite some hick up due to the heavy traffic on the way.We managed to rehomed a puppy from Wendy’s rescue before speeding to PAWS. We were just 6minutes late after they closed.

Ah Wong leaving PAWS.

Off she goes into the car!

With Ah Wong renamed Money, we headed to Kepong where Edmund agreed to foster her. Edmund’s dad too like dogs .Looking at the surrounding, we were quite pleased with the way he handled Money and deep down in us, we hope he will eventually adopt her!

Lets pray that things will work out fine and will set into its place nicely……and happily…..

I Tried....

After days and weeks of delaying in discharging Bindi from the vet, Bindi finally has to go somewhere. The delay was partly due to the fact that I was hoping to find a fosterer for her. Someone who can rehabilitate her before she can be rehomed. I was so glad that Kay managed to find Edmund for me. Feeling happy I discharged Bindi brought her from Puchong to Kepong single handedly( I am surprised myself, that I am able to do that all by myself and being unfamiliar with Kepong town!)

After I settled worried Bindi, I left. Just as I was about to drive off Kepong town, Edmund called me. Oh Boy, Bindi escaped! Luckily due to fear, she ran inside the house instead of outside! Well there is really no other alternative now but to put her back to where she is from. My only consolation is she will not escape from Edmund's house and there be no another case of escape Bibi. I too do not have to feel obligated to fosterer for taking care for me and Bindi will obviously be happy too

Happily she jumped out of the car.
She stretches herself after a very stressful day travelling from Puchong to Kepong and back to Old Klang Road, her home!

She then ran back to find her son.
Looking at me from inside.
She was happily playing with her son when I visited her the next day.

Sometimes I will find her at the abandoned house waiting for me.

I suppose I am practising TNRM that is been encouraged by animal activist. Trap, Neuter, Release and Manage :))

An Unexpected Rescue

These 2 little kitten were orphaned due to the uncaring 2 legged beings called Humans. They were found in one of the classroom on the 2nd floor of a Kindy school. Mummy cat was hissing the 2 leggeds when she saw them entering the classroom.Sadly but true the safety, health and well beings of the 2 leggeds will never be compromised when there is a threat.
Unable to approach the protective mummy cat the pest controller personnel was called. Poor mummy cat who must have thought this corner of the classroom is safe for her to nurse her kittens ran upon seeing the personnel. Poor kittens are now left behind.

Sigh,sigh... only compassionate Teacher Doris could feel for this family and has taken these 2 kittens home to nurse them.
I believe and hope her rescue will not stop here.
Keep up the good work Teacher Doris and her assistant (daughter) Kathleen!
Happy Feeding!

Aunty's Endless Rescue

An abandoned mama has strayed to stay in front of her house.
She has a companion with her.
Even this little cat will come for food .
Partially blind male who used to be Ah Wong's mum companion. He refused to go back to accompany her after staying with Aunty for a week. I suppose after knowing what its like to have a home, no dogs like to be a stray.
You find skinny or should I say picky eater Choy Sun running around.
A smiling and good natured Rambo will be there to greet you. He has o be taken back as the place where he is staying will be torned down soon.

Reagan(left) who was taken off the street (used to be fed by Mrs Tan along the main road of Taman Desa) has the loudest and noisiest bark , shy Tutu is up for adoption.
Ah Yee,the Chow Chow mixed will nipped at you when you are not aware.
Shy brother of Ah Yee.
Limping boy who will always stay on the landing of the staircase.
An attention seeking furry frens who was taken back upon discovering that she is not well fed by adopter.
Mickey Mouse loves been patted and touched.
.
Another attention seeking well fed friend.

And her never ending of puppies rescued......
.
And........
Over fed Lulu who sleeps in the kitchen and has liver problems

My Visit

Bindi doesnt look please when I visited her on her 2nd day in the vet. The staff informed me that she has not been very friendly. I need to go to see her after her surgery to assure her that she is not forgotten and dumped at the vet
She did not move during my visit. Well I guess she is either in pain or angry that I did that to her.
On my 2nd visit. At least she sat up and refused to look at me but finished all the meat I brought her though.

I am glad she looks better as compared to my first visit.

Okay Bye Bindi! See you again. I have to think where to keep you after I bring you out from the vet. Putting you back where you came from dont seem right for me. I just hope miracle will happen and a FAST one too.

Its So Unfair

Two Beautiful dogs. They could be brothers but sadly one is own by workshop worker and the other has a home.

Well need not have to specify who belongs to who, its obvious by their appearance we can tell :((

hhh

bbbbbbbbbb

OH NO! Not Again!

OH DEAR!Look at the number of male dogs around the mama dog.
It looks like mama dog is in Heat again....Haiz to catch her or not to catch her? Since my path crossed hers, this will be her 3rd Heat cycle. The workshop guy has agreed to help me to catch mama dog tomorrow. After reading the pros and cons of spaying a mama dog in heat, I think I better wait. I am too worried that Bindi whom I caught for spaying yesterday is alright.
Hah! New male dog. He must have been lured by the female mama who is in Heat. He obviously looks like Middie's dad.

When Middie meets Macy

Macy came over to pay Middie a visit. Middie was not that friendly initially and later after warming up, they were playing happily together.

A week ago Middie paid Macy a visit, they never get a chance to be friends as Middie was not that happy been brought to an unfamiliar place.
Middie snarled at Macy after been sniffed at.

Middie sniffed around Macy's home and finally decided to sit by himself.
